The new academic year has started, and I'm back at school again for 27 hours a week. I know the love list hasn't been posted for a few months, however I needed a pick me up this evening and searching through etsy has really brightened my evening! So here is Septembers finds!

My name is now Amy

So the Summer Holidays have finally arrived, and with them, England has managed to produce some nice weather. It has come just in time for the Olympics, (which I am obsessed with!) and for our annual holiday to Wales.
So in my holidays, I have done a lot of Starbucks drinking... and I mean a lot. My choice of drink comes in a seasonal rotation. In winter its a caramel hot chocolate, in summer its the strawberries and cream frappaccino, autumn its a caramel frappaccino, and spring its a crushed fruit frap of various flavours! Now our local Starbucks does the thing where they ask you for your name, which I personally love. Its makes you feel friendly with whoever's serving, and can add an element of fun. Because why use your normal name when you can use someone else's? So my latest drink was given to Amy. :) It was literally the first name that popped into my head! I look forward to asking in lots of different names. Mocha Frap for Obama?

Bochum 2012

Last weekend, I came back from an exchange trip to Germany! It was amazing! My exchange family were lovely and so patient with my German, and the weather was great!
We went all over the place, to Cologne, the lindtt chocolate factory, stadt park and the Bottrop Movie Park.  I thought you may want to see a few photo's from the week!

Summer 2012

Well Summer has officially arrived in the UK! Its about 27 degree's right now, which is lovely! Sitting on the lawn, you can hear lawn mowers and BBQ's everywhere! The sky is just so perfectly blue at the moment, I had to photograph it. I couldn't stop myself!

Brand New

I've updated the banner of my blog! Taking the photo for it was harder than you'd imagine! I don't have a tripod or a willing volunteer to hold the camera, so it ended up balanced on a pile of books.
I also seemed unable to use the timer device. I ended up moving just before the shot took!

I finally got a shot I could use :) I am designing other changed to make to the side bar too, so look out for an updated look! Its about 25 degrees c here in England. And just my luck in that my uniform for school is all black. I literally eat heat in it!

Moving On

Yesterday was my brothers last day at school, until him hopefully moves on to University College London. Its hard to put into words, but there was a whole feeling in the school of things changing. There have been rumours of new arrangements and school hours being muddled around, but everyone knows someone who is not going to be seen around the corridors any more. Whether a sibling or a friend. There was a hint of sadness at the end of the day. It just hit me that everything is changing.

On another subject, in three weeks I will be going with my language class to Germany for an exchange trip. Everyone is massively excited! So I hope there will be many photo's to share with you after that!

Also, I have applied to be an extra in a TV drama series! Fingers crossed that will all work out :)
I'm hoping to take singing lessons soon too, after being inspired by a trip to see 'The Phantom Of The Opera' in Manchester. I really want to be involved in that kind of thing when I'm older!
