Fountains Abbey

my Family and I went to Fountains Abbey the other weekend, which was lovely! The light was quite flat, which gave an interesting effect to the photos, and the historic ruins of the abbey as SO picturesque!!!

How beautiful is the sun?

Everyday I am reminded of God of God's grace and beautiful creation! There is literally splendour everywhere I look! Every morning and evening there is beautiful light and the sun never fails to surprise me.

New Camera!

So, big news! After about 2 years of saving up, I have finally purchased a brand new DSLR! I went for the Canon 100D, mainly because it is affordable, small and a good all rounder. My first shots have been basic flowers and family members (I am only just getting to grip with what shutter speed even means!) and I have uploaded the first few onto here. I still have a lot to learn, but I am hoping that it should be a relaxing activity along side the stress of exams, which is all piling on at the moment.

 

Joint Birthday Parties and All That Jazz

Last weekend was a joint birthday party for two of my closest friends. Lets just say, that if you mix 9 teenage girls with a chick flick, endless chocolate and a camera, you get thousands of photos. Not all of them pretty... My friend Robyn recently purchased a brand new shiny canon 600 D, and I wanted to share a few of her photos with you, some I took with her camera (which I stole when she looked the other way) and some she took, where I've added filters and what not!

Lincolnshire - High Field

This weekend was yet another beautiful autumnal few days! We took a trip to my Gran and Grandpa's to help out in the garden, and I took the opportunity to take a few snaps! I'm afraid this is going to be a very photo heavy post!

Autumn Bucket List

This autumn is shaping up to be beautiful! The colours of the leaves are spectacular! I want to be productive this autumn, and try and do more regular posts on here. I work best when given a list of specific goals that can be looked through and completed one by one!

1. Go for a walk in the forest

3. Find the perfect pair of cosy boots

5. Do a night time outdoors photo shoot, using fairy lights
